The Process
So how is polished concrete applied? It's a relatively straight-forward process. If a floor already has tiles, we begin by removing all tiles. From there our crew begins to grind down the exposed concrete removing any remnants of glue or tile. Even for classic concrete floors, the grinding process is also applied to ensure that the surface is prepped to absorb the application. When concrete is grinded, we pour our stain. The finished result is a very shiny, luminous appearance. Many commercial businesses are opting for stained concrete as opposed to tile including franchises like Walmart.
